Title: Having some issues with my VSS-30

Long story short, I picked up a VSS-30 for $1 with some non working keys a few came down to a bad contact strip and the remaining 4 I thought were the contact board.  I found replacements for both and even after installation the same 4 keys still don't work. After some contact cleaner  I touched up all joints on the ribbon cables.  There doesn't seem to be any connection to the 4 keys- best I could trace.
