Title: Casio RZ-1 power supply fix
Post by: mekkah on October 18, 2018, 09:40:41 AM
Good morning,

I opened my casio rz-1 to replace the battery and I saw a damaged component. I don't know much about electronics and I do not know what is it. I think I can replace the component with your help if you show me what it is.

I checked the component with the tester and the connection is interrupted unlike the other 2 similar components whose connection is not interrupted.

This is the power supply scheme http://www.warningwillrobinson.com.au/manuals/Casio%20RZ1%20-%206%20-%20Power%20supply%20schematics.JPG (http://www.warningwillrobinson.com.au/manuals/Casio%20RZ1%20-%206%20-%20Power%20supply%20schematics.JPG)

Thank you very much for your help!

Looks like the 100ohm 1 watt resistor shown up on the top left of the schematic by the rectifier labelled S2VB10
