Hey all,
a friend just gave me his old gameboy color . Has a cool clear housing & still works...Does anyone know of any schematics for bends? Do I need to pick up an old game cartridge?

Wow! Thanks! I'll have to save those bookmarks for a later time when I start to undertsnad just what it is that I'm doing... I looked into LSDJ & nanoloop, but one is above my price range & the other I have no idea how to get onto the gameboy with a mac. Like I said...I'm a newbie! ;D

If you're new, jumping in to something as complex as a gameboy might not be the best start. Look around second hand shops for toys. V-Tech Talking Whiz Kid computers are pretty common still, and just unbelievably easy to work with. The bends are, in my humble opinion, worlds better than the Speak & Spell/Math/Read glitches.

Touch the pins of the clock and you'll always get crazy glitches/loops. I have found that you can get a loop with the clock, then change the loop with other bends on the chips. Such a shame mine died :( (epic sad) And then after that broke I fucked up my other VTech :'(

Thanks for the advice! ;D I'm really into the art & can't wait to explore! It also helps to work for Fisher-Price! If anyone is looking for something fun to bend try a Learn through Music. I've got mine sounding like an old distorted synth.
