I've got a childrens toy that when you squeeze it, it makes a noise. Basically the squeezing action triggers a button that makes the sound but only once. I want to find an electrical component that generates a pulse that I can feed into the circuit so that it continually makes the sound rather than only once.

Some sort of oscillator, with a transistor replacing the switch perhaps?
