Circuit bending and system crashes
« on: May 16, 2010, 06:28:51 PM »

Greeting this will be my first post, and I'm still very new to circuit bending.

So here is my problem, I have been trying to find glitches in basic digi cameras (with no preview screen), I'm using a usb hub and doing a live feed so I can detect some if any visual glitches, but I keep have an issue at this part, occasionally the cam crashes and all I do is take it out of the usb port and plug it back in.

But on other times it will cause my system to pop up with a blue screen error and crash, so I'm wondering if they is a program to bypass my system from crashing, or if I should use another operating system, I'm using windows xp, but I might switch to linux if they wound be any improvement.

some feedback on any ideas getting around this problem would be great.
