i purchased some pcbs with copper dots. i got a bunch of them. in retrospect, i wish i had instead gotten the stripped kind.

my question is, can i use copper tape to  flow components together? cut the tape small enough with an xacto knife?

is there any problem with this method?

i am not too savy with making custom pcbs, so i am looking for a solution.
