vtech video painter
« on: August 06, 2010, 10:00:38 PM »

hi anyone know how to get composite video output at some point on the board ???

I seem to recall being able to get composite from some consoles before or near the modulator

I just got one cheap but I want to integrate it with the rest of my rig after I bend it  ;D

thanks

just a quick update to help anyone else

cracked the unit open and there is actually two unsoldered pads labeled video

the painter actually has a separate board with a tiny modulator on it which I assume was installed for European market possibly because less TVs had composite in or there were also different modulators used for the US and the two video solder pads were only ever used for testing in factory or not at all!

anyway the pad work fine along with a ground so hope that helps anyone else
