Replacing keyboard keys!
« on: April 02, 2012, 03:09:54 AM »

Okay, this maybe really obvious to some people but I can't seem to get a key out of my keyboard (to put on another keyboard that has a missing key) I got the key to pop out half way but it is still stuck in there, it is an sk-1, I don't want to get too rough with the key and break it but it won't budge and there is really no way to get that the part from the inside. Any help? Thanks!

You can't get individual keys out of an SK1. The black keys and the white keys are all on two separate keyboard 'trees', which each consist of one piece of injection molded plastic.

You can take out and replace all the black keys or all the white keys, but not individual keys.
