TC Electronic MC350

Not really circuit bending related but figured some of you may have some advice regardless.

I have a TC Electronic M350 unit which sounds horribly thin and distorted on any reverb and delay settings. Compressor and de-esser settings seem unaffected. All the functions share knobs so I figure they must all be dsp. I wonder if all the delay dsp takes place on a different chip and its that chip thats corrupted?

For what its worth, the delays and reverbs function, as in you can hear tails and repeats.... just as if they're through a crap fuzz circuit.

All effects disengaged it passes clean audio. I'm yet but if the spdif works it may be useful to expand input on my soundcard.
