Trigger wiring
« on: March 25, 2017, 07:14:54 PM »

Hi, I'd like to try my hand at building one of these, having not really done anything like this before. I have a Beatstep Pro and would like to use the it's trigger outputs to run the CB55 while the MIDI output runs my Volca Beats. I don't really understand what I'm doing with the trigger outputs though. I've seen on another post the sleeve should be wired to the ground with the outputs, but what do I need to do with the tip connectors, do I need to wire each one to both TRIG 1 and TRIG 2 pins or just one or...? Like I say I'm a complete newb at all of this.

This is explained in the build guide. If you're using the trigger conditioning you should use the TRIG 1 inputs. If not, then use the TRIG 2 ones.

I was wondering about it myself too, and didn't found it in the manual.
Thank you for the explanation.
