Log Curve Pots

I put a power crash onto my SA-9 and all works fine, but it gets to a point when using the knob that it sounds awesome, then you reach the threshold and it all crashes.

On A linear pot, you have to be very accurate when turning it, so i thought, why not get a log curve pot to use instead, trouble is its an audio taper one, so the resistance de-creases fast then slow as its turned, but i want one that increases resistance fast then slow.

Is there any way of wiring it up to do this? or do i have to go on a big hunt to find one?

i hadn't seen that link, but ive just read it now. very useful  :)

I actually came back on to rectify what a silly question that was.  :-\

i have a good range on my current voltage crash setup (1K pot with a 330R and 1K in parallel)

any way, to achieve what i want to do i just hook up the centre pin and the left pin. Easy.



I need to think my questions through sometimes  :-\
