Circuit bend cross modulation of two keyboards

Hi, has anyone ever tried to link two or more keyboards together as an experiment?  It is possible to do this with analogue modular synths and I just wondered if it had been tried?

of course, thats the best ! :)
casio and yamaha cpu's swing nice together :P
but carefull  not to blow them.. maybe not to many connections the same time..
just try
i don't have a modular, but not shure wether i would take the risk..
don't know if you'l find digital paths to patch on a modulair..
but it would be lovely to get the mangled sounds true enveloppes, filter, ringmod etc
hope you let us hear your experiments  :D

Drum machine patchbays can usually be cross patched together but the reults are never as good as you might want them to be.

This idea is what I have dreamed of for years!!  Would love to see pics and hear what you can do.

First thing to do would be to make sure they share a common logic earth...

excellent.  You proved it can be done.  Now I think you should record it on you tube so those of us who are visual learners in an auditory environment can work it out.

o boy, i can't remember, it is to long time ago.. ???

..on the sa1 i did the regular mods and all the mods DjSynchro suggested here in this site
and made a small patchbay
on the pss i made a small patchbay connected to the main chip
those two i connected, but don't ask me on wich points..
some interconnections worked nicely, others didn't and made them crash..

i did interconnect several other toykeyboards from various brands, (i think i didn't do
more than 3 or 4 the same time) with less or more succes ;)

but it's very funny !

I've cross bent drum machines plenty of times before, and had five hot minutes of a SR-16  connected to a Casio MT-140 before destroying all the user created data on the Alesis.
