hello fellow benders
« on: August 01, 2010, 02:50:37 AM »

hello.

i am new to the site andid figure i start out by asking a stupid question. ive built my first 556 synth. accidently broke it and am now in the process of rebuilding it.

somehow in the process i was thinking of adding a 8 step sequencer. seperate from the 556.

now heres me train of thought and i know i am probably wrong in some way....

since i know you normaly cant sync 555's 556's etc with other things but what if you took the lead that goes into the seq that syncs the time to it and split that to another seq to say run one 555 and then split that to 2 seqs running the same clock but different seqences... possible?

and if so could you then split that lead into another 555/556/etc's INPUT that would automaticly set the clock to what the FIRST synth was set to and THEN sync back out to another sequencer....

heres a ugly pic to dictate my rambling... http://yfrog.com/jt555seqj

any comments, suggestion?
