ds7 problem

found myself a cheap broken coron ds7 drum synth.
turned out to be a broken capacitor and regulator
now all functions are ok, exept the trigger doesnt work, instead there's a permanent tone  >:(
i have the idea i make a stupid mistake but what could it be??
any experience/ ideas on this sweet little fm synth ?

hi :)
is the piezo shorting maybe?
u could take it out and mod it to one of the inputs to make trigger in,
or just replace it,
