That doesn't break forum rules. The rules are mainly there to prevent people like s-cat trying to turn this forum into a money making venue to sell his bent stuff.

The SID chip in that c64 is probably worth more on its own than it is in a c64!

Quick, someone take that PSS480 from him so i don't have to...................  ::)

Have you got a C64 power supply in that lot? I'm after one for my MIDIbox SID project :)

If the Groovy Tunes was unbent, I might be after that as well - I'm wanting one to figure out why the one I have here doesn't glitch out like the other two I've bent, despite having identical boards.

You've got my email address anyways, drop me a line ;)

Hahaha, innit... it's on my mind too! Been niggling away for well over a year now, as I gradually amass the components. Just the expensive bits to go now, apart from the SIDs  ;)

I'm doing the MB6582 build, I'm not getting boards and PICs for at least a few weeks yet, but could get them at the same time and split the postage cost if you're up for it? Might be worth seeing if some group buy type things can be organised, I know a couple of people on nuskoolbreaks are thinking of building them up too :)

I've been getting the bits in when I make other orders from JPR and Rapid. A couple of bits I'll need to get from Mouser - mainly the tactile switches, will let you know when I buy those. Think someone on the MIDIbox forum had slightly scuffed Pactec cases for a bit cheaper, which I was going to go for. Encoders I'm supposedly getting from a mate who has spares, but he's incredibly slow. Will see if he has two sets.

Boards and PICs you get from http://www.midibox-shop.com/buy.html
They're also a secondary source for encoders if my mate doesn't come through, as well as a couple of other bits and pieces I've not found elsewhere. Will send you that parts spreadsheet when I've checked it through.

btw - money is *for* gadgets that make noise... what else? ;)
