I have just bent a Major Morgan toy with a fairly simple bend but my problem is that he origional sound from the touch plate isn't working too well. this was true before I started to bend it and has remained. Can't see any obvious damange and it does produce some sound particulary at the bottom end of the plate but its poor and spolies the overall effect:( Is there a way to test the circuit or components to isolate the problem? I'm fairly new at this and this is the first project I sucssesfuly found the bends myself other attempts have failed or I've  just followed the instructions from Ghazala's book.
