Modifying NOVATION CIRCUIT
« on: July 18, 2016, 04:38:55 PM »

Hello. I am brand new to this forum, but the following is something that I have learned to accomplish for a long time. I am hoping that someone will be able to help me acconplish this:
The Novation Circuit is a sequencer/synth (2 parts)/drum (4 parts) machine is USB connectable and has a Left/Mono and a Right output. I am trying to find a way to get an output for each of the two synths and each of the four drum parts (6 in total).
Another option to help (somewhat) separate parts is to implement panning in some way.
Yet another option is to figure out how to route each of the six parts via USB. (However, by default audio is not transferable via USB).

I really hope that somebody has a solution!

Best,
Stephan

Its not going to happen i'm afraid. The sounds probably never exist in separate channels as its all going to be mixed digitally on chip in the DSP and firmware.
The only way to do it would be to rewrite the firmware, and then do a fairly fundamental rebuild of the circuit from the ground up. Basically come up with an entirely new machine!
