Grandstand Talking Computer
« on: September 27, 2007, 08:27:56 AM »

:) got one of these off of ebay, really odd thing is it has a headphone port that seems to work with headphones but on plugging it into my PC it makes no noise what so ever - other than a hum.
opened it up and the inside is insane :) i'll take some piccies later - its definately bendable theres like a billion resistors in there hehe and a couple of seperate chips.

has anyone else bent one of these?

Be careful, either i'm accident prone or these things are rather easy to kill.

If we're talking aboutthe same machine, on two occassions i've managed to wipe the program ROM on these things so it starts up but all the games etc are gone.

Quite how i did this i don't know so this warning is fairly useless really. ;D
