I have an unbent TR-505, that worked perfectly, but now the BD and HT and HI arent making any sounds. I want to fix them before I start bending it. Any one that knows how to fix the problem?

Replace the green capacitors in a vertical row above the Roland chip. On some 505's these capacitors seem to die suspiciously easily and are directly in the signal path of each sound before they are mixed to a stereo pair.

Before going in to the guts of the machine, double check that the individual volumes on the pads that aren't working.   I got a 505 with the same problem and it turned out that the issue was that the hand claps and hi hats were turned all the way down.

Pads are the keys you whack to trigger the sounds.

Thats a good point about the levels, if you press the level button on the right, and then hit the pads of the sounds you can't hear, their level/volume should be displayed as a number on the screen. Pressing up and down should adjust the volume of the sound, if its on zero you won't be able to hear it.

Thanks! Now I have the hole rooms thrusting with the massive bass the 505 can deliver!

Problem solved!
