can some one please help me build my own dub siren...

all im after is something akin to the one circuit benders flog on ere! lol

i realise tht is cheeky! i just built one of  mattthemodulators dubstep arcades and its good but id like to try and build some thing that works only when i fire the sound...

meaning i can have zero noise coming from the unit unless i fire it..

a simple scematic or link with a parts list will do me nicely...


please help!

the dubsteb arcade is  a beautifull unit though.. i recommend building one!

yeah but theres still a faint siren sound in the background.. i read the troublshooting section you sent me and it says in there that...  "it is a feature of this unit, sorry...."    the noise is only faint but is deffinatly audiable...

meh!

i just accepted it and built another dub siren! which works bang on.... dnt get me wrong i love the DSA is a mint unit! an' i love making noise with it! i just wanted a more standard dub siren anorl!

if the dubstep arcade isnt supposed to do this then iv probly got sumts wired up wrong.... wudnt be a suprise!

sayin this... the DSA has got that lovely attack/decay effect which makes for great one shot siren effects...
where as my ..."super.soviet.dub.siren" (beautifully named i mite add.... =D ) does not have an attack or a delay fuction....

does any one know how i go about introducing an attack or a delay into a siren build???

how randumbs this...

made that dub siren and the dsa the only reason i made another cos i didnt like the constant faint siren sounds in the background....

it worked fine for a week or so and now the new dub siren makes the same noises as the other one!

ggrrrrrumble...

on the bright side tho... it looks ace and also when hooked up to my KP3 makes som B E A U Tifulll noises!

ill put sum vids up on my you tube channel soon.... i cant be doing wiht opening a photobuckint acount just to put piks on here......

Circuit Bent Dub


This is just a new vid with a close up of my self built "super soviet Dub Siren" and my circuit bent Speak n spell  hooked up via my Kaos pad playing along with some Bob marley dubs... Stirrrrrrrrrrrrrrrituppppp!
