my movie with circuit bent sounds
« on: October 25, 2010, 02:03:41 PM »

Starts fairly traditional music/sound fx wise but towards the "industrial" end i used lots of samples from my tweaked machines, mainly the Casio SA-1 and the SK-1

Are you a fan of a Japanese film called 'Tetsuo - The Iron man' by any chance?

Cool! Looks (and sounds) great. There's a brilliant shot in there with the wind turbines and a train passing in the background, very nicely done. What city was used for the location?

Are you a fan of a Japanese film called 'Tetsuo - The Iron man' by any chance?

And maybe of 'Eraserhead' too!

Also, if you're into the industrial wasteland thing, check out this guy's photos of abandoned Japanese buildings (Haikyo) - I know it's nowt to do with circuit bending, Paul, but hopefully its in keeping enough with this thread to be ok...

yes, very well made
there was several locations in the film that i used to live before, but somehow you managed to give it a totally differend atmosphere.. really well done
it would be very impressive on big screen with dolby surround  :)

Am I a fan of Tetsuo!!!! Is the pope a Catholic?  ;D

It was shot in Amsterdam with some vague idea of what it was about to teach myself editing and Adobe After Effects not a million miles from doing music and i've been a graphic designer before. Next one is going to have acting dialog and more bleak industrial scifi Dystopian action. Cheers for the link!
