Electronic Critters, Circuit Bending Sample DVD
« on: March 14, 2008, 09:14:33 AM »

Hi All

Sorry for the ad, but I thought some of you might appreciate this. I have just released a Circuit Bending sample DVD called Electronic Critters.

The project idea came about when I started a marathon circuit bending spree for my last album. I spent a lot of time chopping up the sounds and processing them to create interesting sounds for the album. I enjoyed this so much I carried on doing this, and thus Electronic Critters was born :-)

The package contains:

- Over 750 raw and un-processed circuit bent samples.

- Over 250 sound textures and atmospheres created from the above samples.

- All samples are provided in both 16bit 44khz and 24bit 44khz.

- Free promo album with some tracks off my previous albums.

There is a FREE pack of 20 samples from the DVD which you can download and use as you wish from the link below...

You can hear more at http://www.electroniccritters.com

Also you can join us on myspace.com/electroniccritters

The DVD is available for pre-order at £20 + p&p with international shipping.

You can read about some of my circuit bends here:

Cheers :-)

Hi

My Electronic Criters sample DVD just scored 9 out of 10 in the latest Computer Music magazine (August issue, page 109). I'm well chuffed. They had this to say about the DVD.

Quote
“Now here’s a nice surprise. This homemade-looking DVD has a distinctly lo-fi appearance, but the sounds contained within knock the pants off many ‘glossy’ libraries. Your £20 gets you around 1000 sounds provided in both 16 and 24 bit WAV format, all created using circuit bent toys. If you’re not familiar with circuit bending, it involves tweaking electronic equipment in a manner wholly unintended by the manufacturer, and the results are inspirational. The sounds fall into two categories, raw and processed, both of which feature sounds to spice up all but the least electronic of genres. Bargain!”

If you would like to take a listen you can download a 20 sample pack for free from http://www.electroniccritters.com.

The full sample collection costs £20 and can be bought on DVD or as a download from http://soundstosample.com/info/Other/Electronic_Critters/44

Cheers
